Faster and safer than manual excavation
Heitmann Middle East provides professional suction excavator services for construction, oil & gas and industrial projects across the GCC. Refinery-certified. Based in Abu Dhabi.
One machine.
Many project applications.
From trial trenches to refinery emergencies, here's where suction excavation makes the difference on real GCC sites.
Trial Trenches
Locate and expose underground lines before drilling or piling. Standard practice for bridges, cycling tracks and any project where you can't afford to hit what's buried.
Pipeline & Cable Exposure
Expose existing live pipelines and finger-sized cables safely or dig a clean trench for new ones. No mechanical impact, no damaged lines, no costly incidents.
Deep Excavation
Reach down to approximately 45 m, and up to 100–150 m horizontally with hose extension. For jobs a conventional setup simply cannot reach.
Refinery Emergency Jobs
Burnt cables, burst pipes, leaking pipes, shutdowns, urgent repairs. When every hour of downtime costs serious money, we expose the area fast without risking the surrounding infrastructure.
Petrol Station Leaks
Leaking tanks under older stations cause fuel smell and dying plants. We expose the tank cleanly for repair, without tearing up the whole forecourt by hand.
Flood Prevention
Clear drainages and gullies before the heavy rains hit. Keep the water flowing where it should – not flooding the streets and your site.
The real enemy isn't your project
It's manual digging
Every delay, every damaged pipeline, every safety incident on your site usually comes back to the same root cause: outdated excavation methods that promise efficiency and deliver chaos.
Manual digging
  • Long manual labor cycles, large crews on site
  • High risk of hitting pipelines, cables and underground utilities
  • Safety exposure for workers in trenches and live areas
  • Unpredictable costs, timelines and project delays
Suction excavation by Heitmann Middle East
  • One suction excavator is replacing 100 shovel operators on site
  • Precise exposure of underground infrastructure, no damage
  • Refinery-certified, with gas detection and earthing system
  • Predictable schedules, controlled cost, professional operators
You don't need more workers with shovels. You need the right machine, operated by a trained team and the project moves.
Trusted by industrial contractors across the GCC
Professional suction excavator services.
Available across the GCC
Heitmann Middle East rents out modern German RSP suction excavators with trained operators, full safety package and rapid deployment from Abu Dhabi to all six GCC countries.
German RSP Technology
We operate the latest generation of RSP suction excavators – built in Saalfeld, Germany, with patented airflow technology and over 30 years of industrial track record.
Zone 2
Certified
Matching the highest Middle East HSE standards. Every machine is equipped for high-hazard areas: on-board gas warning system, earthing system, spark arrestor and Chalwyn valve. Approved for use in refineries and live industrial environments.
GCC-Wide
Availability
Based in Abu Dhabi, deployed across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. Fast mobilization for planned projects and emergency response.
3 reasons why suction excavation pays off on your next project
From protecting million-dollar pipelines to cutting manpower costs – here's what changes when you stop digging by hand.
Protect underground pipelines & finger-sized cables
A single damaged pipeline can shut down an entire plant – or stop an airport. Suction excavation exposes underground infrastructure precisely and without mechanical impact. No broken cables. No ruptured gas lines. No million-dollar incidents.
Move faster, especially on deep and emergency work
One suction excavator can remove up to 150 cubic meters per day. Critical for trial trenches, pipeline exposure and refinery emergencies where every hour of downtime costs serious money.
Cut your manpower costs on every line
One suction excavator and one operator replace 100–150 men with shovels. That means fewer buses to the site, less catering, fewer supervisors, fewer gate passes, fewer trainings, fewer insurance lines. Every saving compounds.
This is not a pump truck. This is a fan technology. No need to add water.
The most common misunderstanding: people think you need to spray water to suck out material. You don't. Our machines work completely dry.

Think vacuum cleaner, just industrial size
A suction excavator works like the vacuum cleaner you have at home. Only much, much bigger.
A powerful fan creates a strong airflow that pulls stone, sand, mud, debris and even contaminated material straight up the hose – completely dry. No water.
To put it simply: We can suck up stones up to 25 cm and 90 kg heavy.
Dry Suction
  • No water needed at all
  • Material stays dry and easy to handle
  • No slurry, no mess to dispose of
Fan-Powered Airflow
  • A powerful fan, not a water pump
  • Strong airflow pulls material up the hose
  • Dry, sticky and contaminated material
Handles Tough Material
  • Stone, sand, mud and debris
  • Solid pieces up to 25 cm
  • Fast and fully controlled
RESULT
So when someone tells you "you'll need water for that" – they're thinking of a pump machine - we use fan technology.
Built for high-hazard areas.
Here's the proof:
If you run HSE on a refinery, a live plant or a brownfield site, you've seen big machines that create more risk than they remove. This one is built to the opposite standard.
"Is it dangerous near live utilities?"
"Is it really approved for refinery use?"
"What about spark risk in Ex-zones?"
"Can it reach deep or hard-to-access points?"

Manual digging is slowing your project down
If you're working on construction, oil & gas or industrial sites in the GCC, you know the daily reality:
Slow & Expensive
100 workers with shovels. Manual excavation eats time, manpower, transport, catering and supervision costs – every single day your project runs.
Risky & Costly
One wrong dig can cost millions. Shovel operators using a pick or shovel near live pipelines and underground cables can cause damage. One damaged line shuts down entire plants.
Restricted Access
Restricted access for operators due to Zone 2 or deep excavation and risk of collapsing. On brownfield areas, refineries and live industrial sites, classic digging methods are simply forbidden or too dangerous to use.
The result: delayed projects, blown budgets, safety risks and frustrated clients.
Questions before you reach out?
Answered.
The things contractors and project teams usually want to know before sending us a project.
Do you operate across all GCC countries?
Do you provide the operator, or just the machine?
Isn't this just a pump truck which can only remove water?
How fast can you mobilize?
Is this more expensive than digging by hand?
What types of projects do you handle?
Still have a question? The fastest way to an answer is to send us your project – we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
